Working on 2D animation, the total number of scenes was 221. I checked the storyboard I made by synthesizing the thumbnails and idea sketches made by Jian-Tao and Chia-en. And Chia-en was supposed to be in charge of editing the video with Premier-pro after I had drawn all of 2d works.
Scene 01- 40
I was advised that I needed to give a sense of space where the character is, so I modified some of the storyboards to reflect this.
In order to show that the background setting of this animation is in an ice age, I have made the additional scene of Bird Eye View of many buildings with snowstorm as the first scene. At that time, I added some layers for express snowstorm and close-up as time goes by for turning to the next scenes.

The second scene, which has rubbish under the street, demonstrates the exact situation by an incoming newspaper. To be specific, the newspaper I had made explained which situation in the world in the animation to viewers and it helped to expect what kind of circumstances would be occurred in next steps.
While making the newspaper prop, I had to reflect what I had researched before about the influence to environment and humans of Ice age and the scientific cause of the phenomenon.
Also, the man in bottom left was drawn by looking at a climate change scientist.
I used the picture of Jaimie D., a professor of School of Biological Sciences in Queen's University. And he is one of climate change experts.
Scene 41- 60

From the perspective of rubbish and newspaper, Min using her computer through the window have appeared by Close-up. And then I expressed the Discord screen through the view of Min by showing the movement of mouse key.
Scene 61- 80

Min is asking after his well-being to Brian via Discord with expectation. I used Close-up on typing hands above the keyboard. Also, High Angle shows the overall structure of place where she is in.
Scene 81-100

The scene of her waiting for a reply was faintly superimposed on the message Min sent to Brian from the perspective of the monitor looking straight at her, allowing the viewers to feel's Min emotion ; expectation and anxiety.
After she got the reply from Brian, they began the conversation via Discord with her embarrassment and delight. At that time, the screen's color is being warmth colors. Also, I used the Montage technique that was supposed by Chia-en when we revised the script before making initial storyboard. Montage technique is a technique for creating a new scene by joining or detaching other scenes. Using this technique can demonstrate the flow of time and their relationship is being friendly as the time goes by.
Scene 101- 120

Individually, this is my favorite scene. Min's scene of celebrating Brian's birthday was directed sequentially in the form of a video call screen - monitor - Brian's back looking at the monitor screen. This scene shows his birthday is been celebrated through their online conversation.
And the screen generally faded and turned into the scene that Brian is playing his guitar while Min is singing. I made the transition from the scene to next one appear by overlapping similar silhouettes of character. Also, the background of the color around them had changed from dark blue to relatively light green to express that their relationship became closer than before.
Scene 121- 140

Changing the screen, the audio charged in the centre of the screen and then it was closed up from the view of Min. It suggested the subtitle that huge blizzard had occurred with anxiety to Min but also viewers. Min's scene contacting to Brian with her desperate mind illustrated as Over-Head Shot because I wanted to express Min's emotion mixed of urgent and anxiety as time goes by and not supply from Brian.
The flow of time in Discord screen showed by turning "Sent 1 hrs ago" to "Sent 5 hrs ago" and at the same time, it further strengthens the feeling of anxiety on this animation.
Scene 141- 160

Take off the map attached to the drawer next to the desk, mark the area where Brian lives with a pen, and put it in the bag. This scene appears from Min's point of view. The scene where I put the map in a bag and pass through the snow-covered forest on a scooter depicts Min, just a small being in nature.
Scene 161- 180

It is the scene where the scooter hits the fallen tree and the snow covered on the tree falls on Min's head. It is a high-angle scene where the shadow of the falling snow gradually grows over the appearance of Min looking up. Min's appearance covered in snow captures the comical and cartoon atmosphere in the animation by the appearance of only snow in the pile of snow.
Scene 181- 221
Entering Brian's village, Min's appearance and Brian's house, which is covered in snow by an avalanche, appear. Looking at the statue in front of Brian's house, Min notices that the house in front of him is Brian's house. This scene maximizes close-ups, zoom-ins, and surprise and despair with low angles as well as Min's expression.
The appearance of running to the window of his room and breaking the frozen window that cannot be opened well reveals Min's desperation. The window-breaking image was directed by adding layers and drawing the shape of a broken window and moving that layer to open the window.
After entering Brian's room, Min finds Brian, but what caught Min's eyes are a letter on the desk and cassette tape (zoom-in). Min's emotions at this time are seen in the next scene, the extreme close-up. High angles and fade-outs directed Min's despair and despair at the ceiling pierced by heavy snow.
